Formed in 2021, Manchester-based Luna Marble is Maria Rico (vocals), Dragos Colceriu (guitar), David Grundy (bass) and Sean Stewart (drums). Their music taps into the freedom and authenticity of 70s rock while redefining it as their own, blending genre-fluid creativity with whimsical charm. With supercharged, stadium-ready tunes, the band marries anthemic choruses with ethereal textures and enchanting melodies, drawing comparisons to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac and Rival Sons.
Cosmic imagery runs through the band’s identity — from starry stage design to bold, otherworldly outfits — creating an immersive audiovisual experience that reflects their defiant and transcendental songwriting.
The band’s momentum has grown quickly, with a mini tour in Denmark(2023), their self-run headline series Luna Marble & Friends: The Rock & Roll Circus, and a sold-out album launch at Manchester Academy 3. They won a Battle of the Bands slot at Firevolt Festival and have appeared across the UK supporting acts such as Sari Schorr, The Karma Effect, The Dust Coda and The Wild Things, steadily building a dedicated fanbase.
Their debut album, released November 7th, captures the earliest spark of Luna Marble — a live-wire blend of raw 70s rock energy and dreamy, cosmic textures, recorded together to preserve the magic of their live chemistry. The release has already gained national attention, including features in Classic Rock Magazine (Number 1 Track of the Week & The Hot List), Powerplay and Fireworks. It also earned support from Joe Bonamassa on Spotify, Elles Bailey on Planet Rock, and a Kerrang! Radio shortlist for a record deal.
