Born in Romania, Dragos began playing music at the age of 12, studying classical guitar and music at his local music collage. As soon as he picked up the classical guitar he became obsessed with it sometimes spending 8-10 hours practicing. This carried through on electric guitar which he started learning when he later got interested in classic and progressive rock. 

 

He moved to the UK in 2017 to continue his studies, doing popular music performance in University. Here he developed his electric guitar playing by joining bands and performing in different styles like blues, funk, soul, jazz and, of course, rock. 

 

It was only after meeting Maria in 2020 that he got deeper into psychedelic rock and started melting his influences together and develop his sound. Some of his more notable influences of his are John Petrucci, Slash, Dave Gilmour, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. 

 

It is through these influences that he developed his characteristic guitar solos and intricate rhythm playing that characterise the sound of Luna Marble. He characterises his style as ‘face-melting blues-infused psychedelia coupled with some shredding for good measure’.
